Something interesting about mirrors. What is being reflected back is not the true appearance. That can only be seen with the eyes. The reflection is a representation. As light makes up what we can see as, like the camera's sensor, our eyes convert variances in electromagnetic frequencies converting them into colors, shades, and finally we have an image. A mirror absorbs some of the electrons resulting in the image slightly mitigated in illumination as there are less electrons present to initiate the creation of photons. This phenomenon can be seen when facing 2 mirrors together. As the image reflects over and over the darker each reflection becomes making the appearance of a long dark tunnel. It has been a while since reading about this and I can be completely wrong.
