The composition is very striking... I love all the angles. I noticed a few people have stated that the model seems dead... I really don't see it that way... to me she seems to be almost floating or levitating, and her satisfied, almost smiling face as well as the black cat by her side make me think of her as a witch who is resting contently after a Sabbath and dreaming about it... that's just my opinion, could be because I love Goya so much, in any case, this piece is just wonderful
