The first time I saw this photo I thought she was standing in an ice cave and I thought "Oh, man she is going to freeze to death"....then upon closer examination I saw that you used paper to make it appear that way....very good job. I like the way that she is framed by the "ice" as well as the soft backlighting. I am also drawn to the expression on her face which appears to be "cold". Overall it is an excellent concept and I was immediately drawn to it. I skip over many nude shots unless they "grab me" and this one definitely grabbed me.
oh...I didn't notice that. I had to try but I don't think you could have that paper focused like that (and the model at the same time) with an F/1.6,... damn! I'm sure it' not a montage of two pictures. So maybe thee are in fact really large sheets of paper,...that kind you sometimes use for modelling landscapes for dioramas and such and then they are draped around the girl and the archway where she's standing in? Secrets, secrets
