Hot Thailand

This is a very beautiful shot. The art here is not so much in the angle, the black and white, or the nudity, so much as it is in the ruggedness of all of the objects herein. Firstly, the wood floor, the second most-noticeable object in this piece, is a little rough and worn, as are the walls and the wood box. This is not so contrary to the model’s body, which is very toned and tense, and almost blends and hides her form among the backdrop. This is a very neat effect and the only things helping her image pop out (besides the obvious) are those pillows she is laying on. Their soft, rounded textures help separate the imagery and let our eyes focus better. Excellent shot, great framing, and sweet set-up! Love it!
