I have to say that I love love love the tones in this. The moving lines in the image are great too. Everything is proportioned out really good and my eye isn't just stuck on one thing it actually moves around, (which is something a lot of artists have trouble doing and just put all the focus on one area)
While looking at this so many things came into my mind. They look like they are flying and that the paper is abstractly clouds. It has a type of floating or flying feeling it gives it a more emotional and personal touch to the image.
Another thing that popped into my mind was that its like unwrapping a present, you have a pleasant surprise that you've unwrapped.
I know it says "photography" but these girls can't be real... they're just TOO perfect. Ah the lighting is suburb... Hushed tones make their kiss even more enigmatic, more obscure. More "taboo" if you like. Her toes are noticeably bunched and flexing as well, as though she's just barely holding on to this kiss. Simply lovely. I wonder if the photographer intentionally had the female on top (the one with the arm around the other, who is laying passively astride) have her hair in the knot, while the more passive girl has her hair down, to give the air of the top model being somewhat of an "aggressor." Interesting disparity, to say the least.
